Since last month Westerman Bags is officially a training company for MBO fashion school. I was expecting to welcome a trainee as of september this year. Now traineeships for fashionschool happen to be rare in this rural part of Holland (or are they rare anywhere?) so .. I received an appliance already!

Yesterday I met Cheyenne, here in my studio.
It was a bright and sunny day and so it came about that when I opened the door, the sun came into the studio with this blond 16 year old girl and her big smile. Cheyenne studies at fashion school in the town nearby, Zwolle.
The most exciting part is that she will be working with me and learning from me at Westerman Bags for the coming 10 weeks! In 2 weeks she will introduce herself here .. .. that's a first assignment ... Uh, yes in English please:)
Starting with small stitches.
We will be working on building a small inventory for the most popular items, so they can be shipped quickly. Also we will spend time creating some new items and refresh the shop with new colours.
I look forward to having someone here during the day to work with and to talk to.

Sinds vorige maand is mijn bedrijfje officieel KCH erkend leerbedrijf! Ik verwachtte een stagair na de zomer, maar tot mijn verbazing en blijdschap was daar reeds in maart een aanvraag. En zo ontmoette ik gisteren Cheyenne. Ze bracht de zon in mijn studio! Cheyenne studeert MBO mode aan de Landstede in Zwolle en zal de komende 10 weken bij mij werken en leren. Ze zal zich hier nog komen voorstellen!
