Styling my Etsy pictures

Styling is not really my cup of tea. When taking pictures of my covers and bags,  I've always focussed on the clean and straight lines of my collection.  Whatever I tried, I always came back to the white background and no props. Everything but necessary seemed to distract and was put to the bin.
So why style now? Because I believe it can work out, even for my straight covers, to do some styling. This needs to be learned. By me. So my first Etsy SWAP project was born. You can read about it here: Etsy Swap Project #1

The result being a very nice retro-inspired cover for my Iphone 4s. Oeps. No, for only styling my pictures.

Of course that couldn't be it. I was seeking inspiration ... until today.
Today my little girl came home from school with a bunch of flowers. "For you mummy".. A gorgeous autumn leaves bouquet. Maybe I'm a bit late with my autumn styling since we're already treasuring the early christmas gifts, well, that's my learning curve:)

The new Soigneur magazine is my favorite read. It's a retro styled glossy for racing bike lovers. It's simply gorgeous! My husband had it for his b-day but it's been on my side of the bed only:)
